Since our founding in 2020, Decibel Studios has been redefining what’s possible in themed and experiential environments.
Starting a company at the height of an epidemic was a risk we were willing to take. We saw a clear need for an AV firm that truly listened to its customers — one that valued collaboration, quality, and follow-through. Our team brings together over 30 years of experience across themed entertainment, resort AV, and integrated technology design. This deep technical background allows us to deliver creative, reliable solutions built on trust and expertise. Completed our first Round 1 installation at Cumberland Mall in Georgia, setting a new benchmark for technology in the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) industry. Decibel continues to establish itself as a full-service technology partner, delivering seamless AV, interactive, and integrated solutions for family entertainment destinations nationwide. We’ve also launched a dedicated service department to support the ongoing performance and reliability of more than 30+ venues—and growing.
Developed a fully turnkey, reliable 4D theater solution for LEGOLAND—bringing immersive storytelling to life through perfectly synchronized 3D visuals, dynamic audio, lighting effects, snowfall, and rain simulation. This seamless blend of technology delivers an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience for guests of all ages.
Decibel expanded its team with new talent and moved into a larger state-of-the-art facility to support rapid growth. We entered the aquarium market with a groundbreaking diver communication system that allows divers to interact with guests in an engaging, modern way. At the same time, we continued to strengthen our presence in the Family Entertainment Center (FEC) sector with ongoing work for Round 1 Entertainment and other leading brands.
Awarded the design and installation of a new island destination in the Bahamas, delivering full-scale audio coverage across more than 60 acres. We also created a one-of-a-kind interactive dining experience featuring touch-responsive table projections and immersive floor-to-ceiling visual environments that transform every meal into an unforgettable event.
Decibel successfully delivered a full island destination resort experience and continues to design next-generation technology for future resort projects. We were selected as the immersive technology provider for Dollywood’s new Night Flight Rollercoaster, featuring stunning 180-degree wrap-around LED walls that elevate the ride’s storytelling. Decibel also forged a strategic partnership with the QubicaAMF ONE SOURCE team, expanding our capabilities and reach within the entertainment industry.
